I don’t care what anybody says…I like Kanye West. Yeah he might be arrogant, and some people say his flow stank. But I think he’s funny. If there’s one emcee that can make me laugh it’s his ass. I love that Gold Digga joint. I overplay Paul Wall a lot too. Well people’s the window on the passenger side of my Cutty won’t roll back up, so I’ve taken to window watching at all times of the night and putting a nice garbage bag up to the window. Trying to discourage any intruders. (DJ Lil Jon is jammin!) I may or may not be able to go back to school this fall. I was on Academic Probation this past semester and my fin-aid isn’t gonna pay for this fall, so I gotta try to appeal, but the advisor told me I didn’t have any mitigating circumstances that she could use as a reason for my failure. Well I would say being responsible for a brother and a sister, not having proper transportation and having to get a job otherwise I would not receive anymore public assistance in addition to not being able to pay bills are pretty damn mitigating. But what do I know, I’m just one overwhelmed person. My brother is back home from school, acting his regular strange self. All I gotta say is I hope everything is right for the fall so his ass can be back on I-94 west on the way to UIC. My ex is going to UIC this fall for grad school, we’ll see how that turns out. I am in limbo right now. Cable is gone so I’m stuck watching DVD’s and playing solitaire on the computer while listening to Mp3s. I get out every now and again, but gas is so high I don’t even be wanting to go no damn where. I’m sorry, any damn where. See my education allows me to correct myself. 
I am going to try and publish a book of some of my poetry. I would like to have one thing published by next year. I’m almost done with my novel and I’m hoping I can publish that next year. I got to talk to Bill this past week. I haven’t talked to him in a lil while. I miss hanging out with all my friends from school. Now that we are far apart and doing the grown-up thang, it’s hard to really as J-Nilla would say, “converge”. Even so, it’s good that we can all stay in contact someway. Well I’m bout to go lean sideways with the candy paint drippin off my Cutlass to Walgreens and stunt in the parking lot. Okay, not really but that sounded all gangsta didn’t it?

Sure did sound gangsta 🙂 Thangs happen for a reason, cliche as it sounds. Folk know how it is to have things go terribly wrong and then go much better suddenly. So keep your head up because all that you go through isn’t for nothing.Mitigate ’til they ears fall off.
