So it’s October already. Damn time flies. I wish I could say that it’s been all fun, but at least it hasn’t been all bad. I’m still working getting the everyday hustle on trying to save and prepare for the future. I think that right now it seems like I won’t see myself get too far ahead, but at least I have accomplished a few goals. As of now I am one step closer to finishing my book. Not only the one that I have been writing for years, but also the one that I have just started putting together (funny how I’m finishing that one faster than I am the older one) I am getting it together to go back to school soon, and Black Sheba didn’t die on me, she was just acting ugly for a minute. Some new brakes and a fuel filter later, she’s back on track, but I still gotta get her winterized. Love life is pretty much on ten, we have been having some heavy conversations about where we are trying to go. He was having trust issues and I was having issues with his trust issues, but I think when all is said and done, we are working it out and the end result is a relationship  well worth the work. Check it out, this morning as I was leaving pooh bear’s house for work, I was in the mirror combing my hair, now we have a dog named Phoebe, this lil white jack russell terrier mutt that sheds terribly when she’s late for a grooming. Usually when I’m out and about, I find strings of hair on my clothing or in my hair. As I was combing, I thought I had run into another one. *in Charlie Murphy voice* Wrong – WRONG! I tried to brush it away to no avail and when I leaned forward to look a little closer, lo and behold, it was a silvery-gray hair. WTF?? I knew I was getting old, but not THAT damn old. Now some people say growing grey hair is a sign of tremendous amounts of stress or a sign of aging and wisdom beyond your years when you get it early. I think I can fit in both those categories somewhat. At first I was shocked, but then I just took it all in stride like, hey, it’s kind of distinguished on some Storm of X-Men stuff, which by the way, I saw the Last Stand on DVD, and that’s a good movie, not better than XMen Deuce tho. So, I’m not going to try to hide it, but I am getting my hair done Friday so it might pay to get some flat twists with my youthful colored hair to contain the silver stuff. LOL I’m too much. Anyway, I look forward to seeing Jon B. in concert on Sunday with one of my best friend’s and concert-going buddies, Courtney b.k.a. jawbones. We are Jon B. fanatics and he couldn’t have picked a better time to have a concert. This will be a belated birthday celebration for both of us. Well I’m rambling on as usual, nothing really special to talk about, just keepin ya posted. How are ya’ll by the way? I read Xanga’s but don’t call phones as often. Does that make me a bad friend? *opens arms wide* give us an ‘ug mates!
