Most Overused Phrases

Sometimes I realize that there are certain things I say so much that I could be a doll with a string in my back. Everyone has those certain things that they say all the time in a conversation, in an argument, in agreement. It’s kind of like a default phrase or word that you can use to redeem yourself, or to feign interest in something someone is saying, or just something that you say to get your point across as an end point. There are even phrases for expression of joy, anger and disbelief. Everybody has them. Once you get to know a person well enough, you know their lingo. Their M.O.P.s become second nature to you because you might even find yourself saying what they say. I know a lot of my friends M.O.Ps but I don’t know if they know their own. Some of us haven’t spoken in so long and then moving to new geographic locations also makes for a change in M.O.P.s.

“Whatever”, “Yeah, okay…”, “Riiiiight”, “Are you for real?”, “Ain’t It.”, “Ain’t It?”, “mm hmm”,

those are some of them, I can’t think of any others at the moment but I know I got some more.
