Well um, my updates are gonna be pretty few and far between until I can get my internet back up again. It is now 2thousand&six and hell, a new year, creates a new possibility for new mess, or newness…that’s what I really meant. I’m not working two jobs anymore…think I said that last time, but I’m still looking for another good paying one. I like the job I’m at now, just pays peanuts. I’ve decided that 2thousand&six is gonna be my year of FOCUS. Don’t laugh, using single words of enlightenment to describe how I’m gonna kick off the new year may be as corny and cliche as ever, but I really feel that’s where I’m headed. The past couple of years for me have been a mess. Granted things aren’t as bad as they could have been, but there were some times when I felt like I wanted to climb a tree and wait for a fireman to come rescue me. Shit I think the problem was that I was waiting for any man to rescue me. I didn’t know quite how to be alone and work through things for myself which led to a lot of mistakes that I made, but as I said, this year will be my year of FOCUS. I need to focus on becoming a better person, I need to realize that the task I undertook will not overtake me. I need to learn how to be alone and prepare myself for the person who I know God will bless me with. I need to stay away from negative people. Strike that, cuz there are always gonna be negative people and there is no escaping that, but what I won’t do is feed into their negativity. I need to finish school. I don’t have far to go at all. I need a whoopin cuz i should have been finished last year, but I dropped the ball at the basket. I was shooting Reggie Miller three pointers and makin Jordan dunks then I got to the free throw line and turned into Shaq. WTF? anyway, lets not dwell on that cuz some of ya’ll will be seeing me walk across the stage in my sash and tassle n shit. I will FOCUS more on my writing. I will be published this year in something…look for it. I’m not gonna make a list on paper, I’m just gonna make a picture in my mind and go for it. That way I can’t misplace it, I know it will always be there. I’m doing good, but I know I can do better. And I will. oh yeah, Jobari, I forgive you, although you know I was angry, but I took some of the blame seeing as how you didn’t expect I’d be waiting on Courtney to come up from Nap, but I thought ya’ll were gonna be kicking it at the party for longer than you were.
