I went to the doctor the other day to follow up on some testing. I got a phone call early in the morning because they got the results on my testing. Turns out I have some abnormal cells in my cervix that could be cancerous. The key word is could be, but I’m already a little nervous. I’m due Friday to get a coloscopy. This is how it started with my mom, she felt a lump, got a biopsy, and whoop dee doo, cancer. I’m not gonna worry though until the words “you have cancer” come out of their mouths. Until then I’m living like nothing is wrong. Pray for me please friends.

Why does EVERYBODY seem to be pregnant? Not me but I swear this must be the year to conceive. My cousin, two of my sorors a co-worker and a couple of other women I saw in Rainbow buying baby clothes. Not just there though, they’re everywhere, it’s like an epidemic up here. Dang people, get a hobby besides having unprotected sex! LOL, but for real though, congratulations to all those who expected it, and even to those who didn’t. Take care of yourself and that new life. Try not to give it too many of your insecurities and all of your strenghts. Keep it happy, healthy, and give it more room to grow once it’s out of your womb. I’mma have to go to a drove of baby showers in a couple of months. I wouldn’t mind having a baby sometime between now and thirty, now obviously isn’t the time though, gotta get my shit straight before I go bringing a Taleia Jr. in the world.

I have no free weekends due to this low paying job. But I did have a nice Thursday and Friday, although there were a few sucky spots in between. Black Sheba’s not rattling anymore (thanks Nickypoo, lol) and I got some ice cream, and got lucky at the casino. Now I see how people can get addicted. Double Diamond Haywire does that to you. I was slated to go to homecoming at BSU this saturday, but I really couldn’t get off of work. I’m a bad friend. I haven’t called Candace in a while. We have both been busy though. I’ll give her a call now.
