I have got to have the worst luck with buying cars. I should have just
taken my lil money and put a big down payment on a car and did the
finance thing. But I wasn’t trying to get a car repossesed. Cuz to
finance a car with no job and poor credit is an idiot’s wish. An idiot,
I am not. My car is still able to go a short distance, but the
transmission is suffering and that will probably take a whole paycheck
to fix. On a good note, the bills are caught up, and I’m not completely
broke for a change. I was about to go to one of my frat’s graduation
parties tonight but today was the only paid off saturday I am gonna
have and I had a lot of stuff to get done. 1nce again, nobody knows
when I’m graduating. Hell I wish I knew. I’m shooting for next summer.
I’mma have to settle for General Studies just to graduate, and go to
grad school two years later for my actual major. I can’t handle school,
work, and household. I’m waaaay over the strongblackwoman syndrome.
There is no point in making myself black and blue in the name of the
black woman’s struggle. I know my life is hard, but I’m trying to make
it as easy for myself as possible, not even harder so that people can
see me as a martyr. That may not make sense to some people, but other
real strongblackwomen know what I mean.
In other news, this movie She Hate Me is on some OTHER shit like for
real. I consider myself a Spike Lee conossieur (sp) and well while I
got the message of the film, there was just too much fat around the
poke-chop to really enjoy the meat. All I have to say is, he’s lucky I
must obsessively collect each one of his features. P.S. Working at a
telemarketing company has some interesting times…to be continued (the
date from hell and telemarketing from the bottom of the barrel)
